Sourcing scallops and fish locally and buying direct from the fisherman, helps to keep fishing sustainable, which as fishermen and a boat owner we care about.
Six months of the year, when the grounds are open and the weather allows us, we catch our own King Scallops. Local Restaurants have even had them caught, shucked and delivered the same day or the next, so we won't be beaten on freshness or quality.
They are mostly medium in size, purged (flushed with seawater to remove grit) on board and delivered. We love to deliver in their shell however the last 12 months has shown their natural toxins high, in which case they must be supplied shucked.
We keep them alive for as long as possible so you know they are fresh and delivered to you within 24 hours of being caught.
